We hope that you can join us for our summer farm dinner Saturday, August 31st, from 4:00-7:00 PM here at Rora Valley Farms. We will have a farm tour and then enjoy a meal and time of fellowship with other members of our Farmship Program. Please let me know if you are interested in coming. I will send out a official invite later.
Next week we will not be having a delivery since I am going to fly out to Idaho to take a course in Korean Natural Farming. According to Wikipedia, "Korean Natural Farming (KNF) takes advantage of indigenous microorganisms (IMO) (bacteria, fungi, nematodes and protozoa) to produce fertile soils that yield high output without the use of herbicides or pesticides.[1] A result is improvement in soil health, improving loaminess, tilth and structure, and attracting large numbers of earthworms." I hope to use many of the tools and skills I learn from this class to grow even better, healthier food for you and your families!
