The gardens are coming along nicely and we are getting geared up for the season change. We also just ordered some New Hampshire Red pullets that we plan to raise over the winter for a new egg flock that should start laying in March! This week we are waiting for a new flock to start laying so there will be less eggs available than normal. We apologize and expect to have plenty available once the new hens really start laying.
We thought you would like even more variety to choose from in 'extras' that you can add to your order each week. So we asked our friend Frank McEwen (who makes our non-GMO chicken feed) if we could offer some of his nationally renown organic, stone-ground grits. This week you will be able to find 1.25 lb bags of organic white grits available as an 'extra'. I also just added some more inventory of grass-fed, sirloin steaks as well! The cuts average between 1 lb and 1.7 lbs. Try one and tell us how you like it!
