Since last Monday we have been on a trip to visit some friends near Naples, Florida. It has been a great trip, although it is quite cold today with the weather front that is coming through. We have been able to see manatees, play at the ocean, enjoy playgrounds with the kids, and just relax at the hotel room. We had been invited by a pastor friend of ours to come share at their church about how we do simple church in our home with neighbors and it was encouraging to get to share with their wonderful church community. We also visited a research farm at ECHO in Ft. Meyers. We were given a tour by a friend of ours who is the farm manager and we had the privilege of tasting all sorts of fresh fruit right from the trees, including star fruit and bananas! The picture you see with this update is a cluster of the star fruit. We are now resting before driving the long way back tomorrow (Wednesday) so we can be home in time to harvest and bake for delivery on Friday.
The cutoff for ordering is Wednesday night at 11:59 PM. We will deliver on Friday, the 5th. Use the link in your email or the following link to order before the cutoff time: https://www.harvie.farm/farm/rora-valley-farms/shop
We are looking forward to being home and getting into high gear for the growing season. It is a great privilege to know that we get to serve your families this season by growing beyond organic produce as well as animal products from happy animals! Thanks for all your support.
