Hey!
The spring produce is really starting to come in. This week I picked the first of the Sugar Snap Peas and the greens and roots are abundant. We are working hard to stay ahead of the weeds and trellis the tomatoes in the high tunnel.
While we don't use any gas powered tools in the garden, we do have a lot of cool hand tools that make work quick and efficient. In the picture this week you can see the four-row pinpoint seeder that allows us to plant up to four, tightly spaced crops with a simple pass down the bed. I believe we have German engineers to thank for this neat little tool. It is so nice to have little tools like this that leverage hand labor and enable us to have a conversation while we work!
