We've got some tasty spring herbs heading your way. Green Garlic and Cilantro are available for shares this week! Green garlic is a spring delicacy. We plant these extra close together and pull them before heads form (which won't happen until late June) for a spring treat. Green Garlic can be eaten like a green onion-- you can chop up the whole plant! Use it in anything you'd put garlic in, and use more than you otherwise would as fresh garlic has a more mild flavor.

Remember that this is the last week of our spring CSA! We have a two week break coming up that we use to get all of our summer crops planted in the greenhouses we've been harvesting out of, but you can still find our produce available at the FIRST BEND FARMER'S MARKET, this Wednesday, and at our lovely local grocers (The Stand is now open and Tumalo Farmstand is opening this weekend!). Our summer program begins May 26th.
