I know Fennel isn't the most well known vegetable, but it's truly become one of my favorites since I started farming. Our very favorite recipe is this Slow Cooker Pork, which is great on pasta or polenta and very easy to make. I also love it shaved thin in a salad for a refreshing zip.
Available for boxes this week are:
Greens- Head Lettuces, Salad Mix and Siberian Kale
Roots- Radishes and the last of the spring Salad Turnips
Herbs + Alliums- Fennel, Dill, Cilantro, Scallions and Garlic Scapes!
Fruits- Early season Heirloom Tomatoes!
