Last week on the farm was a chilly one, and this week we are hustling to catch up with transplanting that we couldn't do until the weather improved so I'm going to keep this short and sweet!
Salad Turnips are one of my favorite spring vegetables. They're extra sweet and creamy this time of year and my favorite ways to eat them are sauteed, roasted, or sliced up on a salad or sandwich, They're extremely versatile and can be incorporated into so many meals, so feel free to incorporate them into any meal plan. Here's an article by our lovely local food eater, Stephanie @cookbycolor, to get you inspired. These are also my favorite root to eat the greens on, they're essentially mustard greens and it's a great bonus to this lovely root!
Happy eating this week,
Ashley, Caleb and the Sungrounded Crew
