We've been preparing and planting fall fields like crazy and this week's weather finally makes that activity feel appropriate. (that picture is an entire field of fall carrots!). But we're still harvesting the abundant sweet peppers, eggplants and okra. Still trickling in some "winter" squashes as they come out of curing. But soon we'll be harvesting a lot more leafy and green things again. They poured the cement for the new pack house today, and we're excited to start growing year round now that we don't have to wash and pack in our open air (brrrr!) pack shed.
