Farm Happenings for May 28, 2024
This will be the last spring share delivery. Next week the summer shares will start.
The radishes are done until the new planting starts, probably 2 weeks.
New this week will be Sourdough Sandwich Bread, baked in a Pullman pan.

We are getting lots planted out. Looks like we will have the first zucchini next week.
We hope to get the corn planted in a couple days for the corn maze and then we pray for no
grasshoppers!!!!

Wow!!! The weather is beautiful for Mothers Day weekend and for everything to really grow.
Some of the Kale and cabbage got bit by the last frost but it is putting out lots of new leaves now!!

Farm Happenings for May 7, 2024
We have more things ready to harvest every week now. Rhubarb is on this week and more radish and salad turnips.
If you like cinnamon rolls be sure and try the sourdough ones from shepherd hill farm. They are wonderful!!!

Just when I thought we were having an early spring it turned cold and started snowing and raining!!! LOL!! Must be a plain old spring in Eastern Oregon!!
