What a beautiful Indian Summer and Fall we have had. We got most of the garden stuff
done for winter, still need to put plastic on a hoop house. The cows are worked and we started

This will be the last summer share for 2024. It has been a good season for us. Not really normal
but I don't know if I even know what that is anymore. I so appreciate each one of you that have
been an important part of our farm.

Farm Happenings for October 8, 2024
Just 2 more weeks and the summer season is over. Sure seems
like fall came quickly. It almost feels like snow out there this evening.
We have lots of kinds of apples coming in now. Fun to try all the different

About the farm
We are a small family farm in NE Oregon. We grow a large selection of vegetables, our own frozen beef, free range eggs, in addition to fruit, local honey and other items from local producers. Our gardens are on a southern slope which gives us excellent growing conditions. We irrigate with water from a spring and use a drip system which allows us to give the plants what they need and not waste any water. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. We do not knowingly plant any GMO seeds or plants.
