Pumpkin season! You can pick up a few pie pumpkins and just stick them in your garage or on the porch for future use. You’ll just want to protect them when the weather gets down to 30. Nothing is quite like pumpkin pie or custard made completely from scratch. Yum! Libby’s cans just can’t compete! If you don’t believe me, you’ll have to bake a few yourself. So grab some eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and milk to make make a delicious fall treat, or in my case, breakfast!
I am sorry to announce this is the last delivery from the farm this season. Our inventory is getting low and the weather is getting cold, this means that we are covering our fields to cover crops and cleaning up in preparation for next year. Our on-farm self-serve store will remain open, with limited offerings, but bagged greens and eggs will continue to be available. It’s been a good year and thank you to each of you for buying some of your food from us. The boxes that you get for the last delivery we will not be retrieving, so please discard them (or if you’re local, feel free to drop them by the farm anytime).
