Summer arrived last week with a bang and heat and irrigation were suddenly needed. We're back to cooler temperatures now which the farm crew appreciates. We are in the thick of our big transplanting jobs and just starting to get a number of new crops near harvest. The spring was very cold this year so the variety we have this week is less than we have had in past years, but we have a lot of really nice looking spring crops that will be ready very soon so bear with us!
We are late getting our estimate out today again due to some technical difficulties. But here it is. A couple notes for this week:
- New! We have introduced "Wildflower's farm market" as a pickup location on Fridays from 4 pm to 8 pm. Our regular farm pickup will continue to be Thursdays from 4 to 8 pm.
- We have asparagus from 3 places: our own asparagus, some from Orchard Hill Farm and some from Mazaks. All organic and very local, but if you get asparagus it could be from any of these this week.
