Welcome to the last share for 2022! 33 weeks of main season deliveries and 9 weeks last winter. It's been a great year on the farm and a lot of that is thanks to you, our members.
This week we have a Friday night market at Western Fair from 4pm-8pm. If you would like to pick up Friday please let us know ahead of time so we can make sure your share is there with us.
2022 has been a very interesting year on the farm for us! Our goal on the farm was to expand our sales a modest 15% and we are on track to hit about 12% so we feel pretty good about that. We have continued to expand our vegetable donations to foodbanks in London and St. Thomas and we had such a fantastic crop of carrots this fall that we donated over 2000 lbs this month to Christmas Care and the Salvation Army. We are currently making plans for 2023 including getting all our seed orders in before the new year. Our hope is to continue focus on our CSA / box subscription. This means we'll be increasing production of crops that members have chosen most (for example broccoli!) and we plan to begin delivery of shares in Kitchener-Waterloo too! We also want to expand the opportunity for our members to connect with the farm and see what we are doing here. Look for more chances to visit the farm to interact with us throughout the season next year!
