Our first tomato and cucumber plants are being planted in our greenhouse this week! How exciting! Most of our greenhouse beds will be turned over and amended to support the health and growth of these summer crops. We also plan to seed our huge planting of onions this week. Can you believe that we'll have onions in the ground by the end of April? Our greenhouse has quickly produced plenty of radishes that will be available this week. We encourage you to get creative and reduce waste by using up your radish greens! Radish greens can be enjoyed sauteed in your stir fry, boiled into your soups and stews, or even chopped up into your salads!
Be sure to check out some of the new products available this week. Stock up on fruit juice, salad dressing for your greens, pasta sauce, tomato paste, coconut milk for your vegetable curries, canned black beans, newly available jam flavours, and delicious canned peaches and pineapples!
