The crisp mornings (and our cold hands!) tell us that fall weather has finally arrived. On the farm this week we're focusing on finishing our storage carrot harvest as well as beginning to bulk harvest winter radishes.
This week we're featuring choi -- baby, green, and white-ribbed. They're all perfect for stir-frying, steaming, or make a great addition to fall soups. We also have lots of cauliflower available, and are happy to mark the return of our watermelon radishes! From Orchard Hill Farm we have a variety of specialty squashes available again this week. From Pfennings look for Ontario celery and mushrooms, as well as imported organic ginger, avocados, bananas, and apples.
