This will be the second last week of the winter CSA so if you are a bi-weekly member, this is your last share.
Some have asked, how do we get veggies from you in the winter? You have a couple of options. First, we will be at the market at Western Fair every Saturday and Sunday all winter, so if you are in the London area and can make it down we'll have plenty of great stuff for you! Second, if visiting the farm is more convenient for you, we are packing for the market every Friday afternoon and you would be welcome to stop by Fridays from about 3pm to 5pm.
As winter approaches, we move into a different pace on the farm. We continue to care for our greenhouse and hoophouse crops of greens for the winter as well as weekly washing and prepping our storage vegetables. We have also started our crop planning for next year which is always an exciting time for us!
