Hey CSA Members,
What a muddy week it has been. We are grateful for the rain to recharge our soils and give the all the farm plants a good drink.
This week, we harvested most of the winter squash: a nice mix of butternut, honeynut, spaghetti, and a few other trial squash. They will cure with the sweet potatoes in the barn for a few weeks before we start to add them to shares.
Finally, we strive to provide the most fresh and high quality produce possible. Sometimes our stored products get a little naturally funky. We comb through them often to maintain the inventory, but every now and then a yucky onion or potato slips past us. Sorry about that! Please let me know if that happens and we can get you a credit or a fresh item.
