Happy first frost day,
It wasn't an expansive one and didn't hit any crop; but it was all over the marginal ground on the farm. Not much changes for us but it is still a waypoint of the year.
A lot of our staff has been out sick this week. It has been a very busy week for us to harvest and pack short-handed. The ground also dried out enough over last weekend to catch up on field work - the tractor drivers were hustling.
