More rain is coming.. an the race is on to restock depleted reservoirs and avert yet another year of drought. Let it rain!! As much as we love the rain, there is, sadly too much of a good thing when it comes to crops in the field. Our Home Ranch ground is quite flat and doesn't drain well, so the 10" of rain we got with the last big storm has drowned our baby greens and they're yellowing and rotting in the ground. So, not much for baby greens this week. Luckily the Little Gem Lettuces and Red Butterhead lettuce is on.
Just another reminder that our 2021 CSA Season is coming to a close. 2 more weeks now. We are working on getting registration set up for 2022 ASAP. We do have an auto-renew option which you can set in advance of when we run the auto-renew:
1. log in to your account
2. click on your name in the upper right hand corner and select "My Account" from the dropdown menu
3. Click on the "Subscriptions" tab
4. Turn on "Auto-renew"
There's no need to auto-renew, you can wait and make a decision later, but we have a very long wait list for eggs shares, so if you have egg shares and want to keep them, you might want to auto-renew. What egg shares remain after we do auto-renew will be distributed to those on the wait list.
