FARM NEWS:
Happy Summer Vaca kids! (and hang in there parents...) Our kids have discovered the walkie talkies and are entertaining the whole staff with renditions of their favorite songs as well as blow by blow commentary on all their arguments.
Did you hear about the Mountain Lion cub that was found in a Pescadero Elementary school classroom last week?! School was still in session... The whole school was evacuated and helicopters were called in to look for Mama, whom everyone guessed was probably lurking close by looking for baby. Only in Pescadero... On another note, we woke up this morning to some lovely rain! Even if the accumulation won't make much of a dent, it's at least washing all the dust off of everything. Everything smells so sweet this morning.
Tip of the Week:
Don't forget to bring back your bags! We've started to roll out our re-usable mesh produce bags. Please help us make re-usables work by bringing them back to your pick up site when you pick your your next box. Also, for those of you who may not have had boxes last week... Before you leave your pick up site, check the contents of your box to see if anything is missing. If the contents of your order don't fit in one box, there may be a second box!
