The inside of the hoop houses is a thing of beauty....it looks like Spring! Alas, today we have exactly 10 hours of daylight, and tomorrow, growth will really slow down. We begin to blanket the rows with giant sheets of spunbond fabric for frost protection and it will soon look like white winter in there!
My schedule will be a little erratic for parts of the last two weeks in November; I will not attend the Allen Street Market those weeks but will arrange off day deliveries and/ or home delivery. I am also working on the Covid-19 situation. Right now we do offer no contact delivery upon request. Your bags and boxes are returnable now--we have an approved disinfectant.
My inventory computer manager "Harvie", has developed, tested, and offers a home delivery system. We are working on scheduling and cost. If the virus infection rate goes much higher, it may come to that. Food safety has always been a big thing around here, and now my focus is on customer safety! I invite your comments and thoughts on this subject.
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Market after that at 3:00. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday we deliver to the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery in Grand Ledge, 11:00-12:00 noon.
Please see the attached menu for this week and let me know if I can help. I hope to see you soon!
