I spent the weekend "potting up" the early Tomato transplants as we wait for the soil to warm up another ten degrees. The transfer to the high tunnels is scheduled for April 17, and the full sized Tomato plants already have small flower blossom buds! The Cherry Tomatoes are 4 weeks behind in the initial seeding, but will mature sooner.
Auto-Renewal for the Spring CSA Membership begins April 10. Please let me know if you want a change. The Spring Schedule runs through June 30, and our popular Fruit Share begins with the Summer enrollment beginning in July. Items like Asparagus and Strawberries will be offered as add ons when they become available!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street indoor Farmers Market after that, 3:00-6:00.
Thursday afternoon is farm pick up and prearranged home deliveries. Saturday I am at the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery in Grand Ledge, 11:00-12:00 noon. I hope to see you soon!
