The next two weeks are "transition" weeks at Hillcrest Farms, and our weekly menu will not reflect what we will bring to the markets, or the weekly CSA Member "Harvie" menu. While we welcome Tomatoes, Peppers, Zucchini, etc., the harvests are too early and too few to offer them to the markets at large!
This week is auto renew week for our Members that move into the Summer CSA beginning July 2, and lasting 12 weeks through the week of September 17. Note that generous Fruit shares are also available to our Members. Two deliveries will be charged by Thursday June 29 at sign up, then no charge for delivery number two. Also in the interests of the environment and my budget, please try to return your delivery boxes!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon and the Allen Street Farmers Market after that, 3:00-6:30. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up and arranged home deliveries, and Saturday we are at the Market on the Grand in Grand Ledge 9:00-1:00. Note we are open all next week except Tuesday, July 4!
