Saturday, November 9, we dipped to 9 hours and 58 minutes of daylight. High tunnel vegetable production begins! We actually began planting and planning for Autumn and Winter back in July, and it's gratifying to see our efforts actually come to fruition.
There WILL NOT be a delivery to Grand Ledge or HOME DELIVERIES this Saturday. We will be out of state Thursday through next Tuesday. Please let me know if you need a fix this week! Wednesday, I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids at 12:00 noon and the parking lot at the Allen Street Market 4:30-6:00 for mid week distribution orders.
Thanks to all for cooperating with my transition from Harvie to a new Customer Friendly platform in early January. Just a few more weeks! I plan on full service for Thanksgiving Week. My full participation in the Allen Street Indoor Market is still undecided due to time constraints. Meanwhile, we will be available for Fresh Produce deliveries through most of December and into January and Winter/ early Spring. I hope to see you soon!
