I managed to slip away for a few days on Labor day weekend to the Upper Delaware, near Matamoras, Pennsylvania. The river is beautiful here, with eagles and heron swooping about and ducks floating in the water, muskrats swimming around and the air cool and fresh with the promise of the changing season. I'm very lucky to have such a reliable and capable co- farmers this year that I can go on these short trips-- Evelyn, my daughter, now 20 (twenty!) years old and our colleague and friend Carrie, who has been working with us now since June of 2021. So you'll forgive me if I don't give you much of a farm update today-- I'm not thereto say!
