Can you believe we're already at Week 20? That means we have just over a month left for this season's CSA. Summer/Fall CSA always ends the week before Thanksgiving, and then Winter/Spring CSA will begin the week after.
Winter CSA update
If you pick up at one of the following locations, your membership is scheduled to auto-renew on Monday. You can check your auto-renew settings here: Harvie | Account Settings. After auto-renew happens, you will have a few days to make adjustments to your share size before it's finalized.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to find an indoor pickup location for our Point Breeze members. We have been looking around Point Breeze and Squirrel Hill with no success. Our Bellevue pickup is contingent on the Pittsburgh delivery, so if we find a location then we will add both locations. Again, if you have ideas for an indoor location that is open in the late afternoon/early evening and that has some space to offer us twice/month, please let me know.
If you are a member of one of our smaller pickup locations and you want CSA to continue through the winter, then you should tell your friends and neighbors about us!
Broccoli
The weather lately hasn't been very good for our broccoli. Broccoli is a cool weather crop, and the warm days made the broccoli ripen and flower more quickly than expected. Some of you may have gotten broccoli that is definitely past its prime in last week's share. If you would like a credit for your broccoli, please let me know. This week's broccoli is from a later planting, and Detweiler Farm tells me that it looks much nicer again, so don't be afraid to try it.

- Round Steak sale! Buy 2, get 1 free. Moose Family Farm has a bunch of round steak that they want to clear out of the freezer.
