It's that time of year when we're astounded daily by the bounty of our harvest. The over-abundant rain in July has been hard on our salad greens, so those are limited this week, but we're bringing in hundreds of pounds of tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, and peppers every harvest day. We've started bulk harvesting summer carrots, beets, and onions- bringing in thousands of pounds at a time. Our arms and backs are getting stronger and moral is high as we relish in the beauty of all this good food.
This photo is one from the archives (circa 2007), back when Ben and Danielle were just wee babes working at the Burlington Farmers Market. B & D have been growing huge zucchinis together for almost 20 years!
