Sunshine and sunflowers are boosting our moods this week. We're feeling a bittersweet mix of joyful and wistful during these transition weeks. As we savor the last of our ripe tomatoes, we're pulling up our beloved cucumber plants to make way for our final successions of cold hardy greens that will feed us through the winter. We still have two months of steady harvest ahead of us - but we're energized as fall brings a new freshness to our cold weather crops. We're marveling at the beauty of our broccoli, arugula, cabbages, kale, head lettuce, and spinach this week. Four Corners Farm has a gorgeous crop of sweet corn for us this week and we'll be enjoying the last of the stone fruit from Sunhill Orchards. Next week we'll move on to apples!
