Dear Spoon Full Farm Family:
We have enjoyed a delicious holiday of feasting and family, and we hope the same for you, as well. As December folds in the wings of the year, to settle in for a dark solstice roost, we crave warmth. Our favorite scene is a quiet kitchen, perhaps with windows fogged up by fragrant steam, given off by a simmering pot roast.
Another favorite scene is cattle lounging in the short, dormant winter grass of their pasture, clustered close. Steam drifting out of their mouths, as they chew their cuds. Peace. Concentration.
