Yay, Rain!
After three weeks of drought, including some hot weather, we’re finally getting some rain! We’ve been irrigating the gardens, but there’s nothing like rain to make things grow.

Poor Strawberry Weather
The strawberries are ripe and delicious, but our crop is small this year thanks to cold weather in the spring and the current drought. Ron has been talking to the plants, encouraging them to do more (along with irrigating them), and they’re trying their best!

Dry Start to Strawberry Season
It’s getting pretty dry, and Ron has been busy setting up drip irrigation lines for the strawberries and other crops. First Salad Greens of the Season
Our early plantings for this season are just starting to produce! We have arugula and a limited amount of salad mix, spinach, asparagus and rhubarb. Growing Seedlings
Well, it’s back to cooler weather again! The up and down weather makes it difficult to harden off our tomato and peppers seedlings, which are growing bigger and bigger.

Delightful Spring
Ah, spring! Green grass, blossoming trees, birds singing. We’re enjoying these sights and sounds at the farm. The first seeds have been planted in the early garden, and the seedlings we started indoors are growing well.
