Great news! It seems like the strawberries are starting to kick into high gear and lots of other crops are starting to grow a little more quickly with the warmer weather- We did experience severe flooding at one of our farms- One of those once every 15 year floods. Fortunately the crops that were planted there were only partially destroyed. The biggest hassle was the long rows of black plastic washed all over the place and had to be fixed and secured foot by foot on our hands and knees in the mud. We all tried to make the best of it. Imagine 3 football fields side by side with black plastic strewn in every direction-
We're excited to offer some ground beef this week. We do have steaks and roasts available as well- but will start with ground beef.
