Here's a picture of the wonderful team at SHF. Now that Amanda is back in the college professor mode, Silas, Josiah, and Finley are spending a lot more time in the fields with all of us. We are so fortunate to have a wonderful group of guys here. I could not imagine having to leave my family for more than half the year. Fortunately all the guys enjoy having my boys work with them and my boys definitely enjoy working with the guys.
We've even enlisted our farm dogs to help out this year. We have created a make shift home for Peanut in the sweet corn field. Despite our best efforts to create an animal proof electric fence around the sweet corn, some animals are still sneaking in at night. Peanut is doing a pretty good job keeping them out, but he's missing a few.
