Wow! We're here- It's week 1- and I've got butterflies in my stomach. Why you might ask... We plan, work, plan, create a back up plan, learn, study, fail, try again, try to perfect, roll with the punches, pray, recover from disaster, take one step forward... sheesh- and that was just to get the internet working today :) Only kidding- But seriously- I get major butterflies and ulcers at the start of every season. We want your first share- to be such an amazing experience that you'll pick up your share and say- WOW! Look at this stuff- I'm so thrilled to participate and be a part of a farm that is trying to make the world a better place in so many ways.
You have entrusted us to bring you great things for 22 weeks and we're ready. As many of might imagine and past members will remember- despite our best efforts we will not be perfect. However- we stand behind our 100% Satisfaction guarantee. Please contact me if you're not thrilled- just do so kindly please-
As many past members will remember- SHF strawberries are some of the best you've ever tasted, we hope that they will prove themselves again. And my oh my- The romaine this week is so sweet juicy and tender!
And as mentioned in the Welcome Guide- the first couple of weeks will be lacking in variety-however- I'm a little upset to only be offering you 3 fresh items this week-Due to several issues we encountered several months ago, we don't have quite the variety that we'd love to- To make up for this we're adding some of our delicious canned goods for you to enjoy As the season progresses- more and more variety will be available-
Thanks to all of you that have read thru the Welcome Guide, checked out the website, looked at the Seasonal Offering guide, taken the Survey Monkey Quiz and other such resources we make available to make your farm share season exceptional. different types of produce. Please be reminded that early in the season, the quantity and variety will be less, but offset by higher value produce likes strawberries which are one of ourcustomer’s most favorite.
And-What's the picture about? Isn't it beautiful?! It is a field of crimson clover and winter wheat that we grow to nourish the soil and deter deer from munching on the strawberries. Later in the season this field will be full of other delightful foods for you to enjoy!
Thanks so much
