Exciting news- Uncle Jimmy and I have finally figured out what the problem is with our main delivery truck. One of the air intake valves came apart, got shoved into the piston, cracked the head, then caused several other valves to jam and destroy the motor. The bad news... this motor (probably because of a design defect) is no longer being produced, there are no remanufactured motors on the market, and we've scoured the internet looking for a replacement. However- our local Junkyard just bought a wrecked truck that has a motor that we hope will fit.
So why am I telling you all this information about yet another struggle on the farm?....
We're telling you this because despite all the challenges of this season we're proud of the shares that we send out each week and from the kind emails that we receive you're enjoying them too. We're so thankful for the opportunity to grow food for you and your family.
