Summer never ends! It’s hotter and drier now than it’s been all summer long. This is definitely making growing fall produce more of a challenge. With the warm weather we are wishing that we had more plantings of summer produce like melons and tomatoes, but alas, we are not future tellers so we will get by with what we have! And one thing we do have is fellow farmers, from one of which we are sourcing awesome certified organic honeycrisp apples so we can all enjoy them. It might be hot as can be, but the calendar still says it’s the middle of September and it’s the time of the year for squash, potatoes and apples.

About the farm
Wild Coyote Farm is a Certified Organic small family farm in beautiful Southwest Michigan, dedicated to organic, regenerative, and sustainable growing practices to produce delicious and nutritious produce and eggs. No synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, GMOs, or anything harmful to any part of the precious land and environment we steward. We grow everything in soil (no hydroponics) and focus on soil health to grow the most nutritious produce. The animals we raise (chickens and sheep) rotate as part of our soil health plan, are pastured and humanely cared for.
