Despite the unusually cold weather this week, we're very excited for spring! Last week we got our first field transplants in the ground. In the photo, baby brassicas (cabbages, kohlrabi, and kale) are nicely protected from wind and frost under row cover.
No deliveries this week, but please place an order to pick up at the farm on Friday afternoon or at Western Fair market on Saturday. We have lots of our own lettuce available again this week. We also have a great selection of organic produce available from Pfenning's including broccoli, peppers, celery, and Ontario-grown tomatoes and cucumbers.
