Week 3 of our main season!
We continue to catch up on our spring planting and things are looking good. We finally got all our potatoes planted last week and our final spring project of re-building our large unheated hoophouse is done(it is affectionately referred to has hoophouse 2 because it was the second one built on the farm).
This week we are featuring locally grown asparagus and rhubarb and our own cucumbers which are doing fabulously right now. They are a "japanese" style which are a little smaller than your regular greenhouse cucumbers but we have found their flavour to be superior so now it's all we grow. This week we have a small number of cherry tomatoes which means we will have a lot very soon! We will also have our first extra early hoophouse grown carrots next week in shares!

This is your last chance to get plants in our pre-order. We will be preparing orders and getting them out to you at the end of this week and we'll have some plants left for sale at the market this weekend. We have ground cherries, basil, lots and lots of tomatoes and some very interesting peppers available!
