This week: Because of Canada Day all deliveries and farm pickup will be Thursday (pickup from 4 to 8 pm). If you want to pick up Friday, no problem!
We are running our festival again this year August 27th! You can buy tickets through Harvie with your shares and we are offering a discount to CSA members. Gabe and Amanda are organizing it and the lineup is set and there's going to be lots to do! Proceeds will be going to Anova London (previously London’s Women’s Community House and Sexual Assault Centre London) this year and we are hoping we can seriously support them with food from the farm for their programs.
This week we have a small amount of broccoli from the farm along with some Ontario grown organic broccoli. Unfortunately the hot weather has put a halt to strawberries and we may have only very little available this week from Great Lakes. Despite the dry hot weather we've been able to keep up with watering and our field crops are looking very good! We have some new crops coming in now (zucchini, fennel) and lots more coming very soon! The view above is our potato field which is starting to flower. This generally means we are a couple weeks away from our first new potatoes!
