The flower garden has flowers! We've expanded the garden next to our pickup area this year thanks to help from my dad who grew a lot of different flowers for us to plant. Anyone picking up at the farm on Fridays is welcome to go and get a bunch of flowers to take home! There are a few that have started flowering already but a lot more to come. Look for pruners that we will leave out at the door to the pickup area!
Also, a reminder about our festival tickets for CSA members: the deadline is the end of July to get discounted tickets with your CSA order!
Despite the dry weather, we've had our irrigation going and our summer crops are enjoying the hot weather. I don't like to make predictions too far ahead, but our melons look like they will be amazing this year! We have 2 new crops coming up very soon on our list, maybe even next week: our first field planting of carrots will be ready and possibly some new potatoes!
