On the farm this week we turned over the final greenhouse beds (on the right) in preparation for the last succession of winter lettuce. On the left, you can see the lettuce transplanted earlier this fall is growing nicely. Almost all of our storage crops are now out of the fields with just rutabaga and winter radish remaining to be harvested.

The root roast is a mix of root vegetables including lots of carrots, as well as beet, turnip, parsnip, winter radish, and potatoes.
