As we approach the month of June, and the transplanting is almost finished, we have just 4-5 weeks to tweak our summer harvest operation. We'll have plenty of time to look back and reflect in November, but we start planting for Fall and Winter in mid July!
I am getting pretty spoiled with all of the Springport High School employees around. The two seniors will be moving on to college next year, joining Lauren and Riley, and all are very skilled at what they do here. So far we have two incoming juniors to fill in the gaps, and I feel confident in their roles. Look what great mentors they have!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon and the Allen Street Farmers Market on MIchigan Avenue after that. Thursday is farm pick up in the afternoon, and Saturday we are on River Street in Grand Ledge for the MArket on the Grand, 9:00-1:00 pm. I hope to see you soon!
