Hello!
This will be a transition week at Hillcrest Farms, with most of our seasoned helpers leaving for school. Those young people sure made me comfortable with their polished skills and work ethic. Now I'm back to work!
It is also a transition for the crops. Riley loaded up the nursery with many flats of Autumn fare before he left, We have everything from Beets to Lettuce to Spinach to Radicchio preparing for transplant. Beginning this week we will also be supplying Springport High School with Fresh Produce!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot on Wednesday at 12::00 noon and The Allen Street Farmers Market on Michigan Ave.after that. Thursday afternoon is Farm pick up, and Saturday we are in Grand Ledge for the Market on the Grand, 9:00--1:00, and the weather forecast looks great!
