I had been anxiously waiting for shipment of winterizing supplies, when in the middle of the 7 straight days of sustained high winds, my main supplier cancelled the order due to "supply problems"! So Lauren and her friend Jack and I, spent some hurried hours erecting the darndest looking plant shelters out of existing inventory!
When a newer student employee undergoes the lengthy orientation I always ask what the greatest enemy of plant life might be and then fill in the blanks: Wind! That lesson always gets forgotten, until the winds return again, and they will! Are you reading Alanna?
With Thanksgiving on Thursday, and my last medical eye procedure on Wednesday, I will deliver on TUESDAY Eaton Rapids orders at 12:00 noon, and Allen Street deliveries on Fairview at Michigan Avenue, right next to the farmers market site, 4:30- 5:30. The Eaton Rapids drop off will still be in the familiar Family Fair parking lot. Farm pick up is Tuesday afternoon until 5:00.
The Grand Ledge deliveries will remain the same in the parking lot behind Flour Child Restaurant on Saturday, 11;00-12:00 noon. Also note that Flour Child, one of our valued customers,won the Top of The Town Award for Dining-Bagels. No surprise there!
