One of the benefits of being self-employed is being able to flex my schedule...and sometimes I cannot. Tomorrow's weather forecast suggests that I get a lot of outdoor work done today! And we do flex; tomorrow I will work in the nursery, and by the end of the week we'll be able to handle Microgreens and Pea Shoots for the menu in a couple of weeks.
Lately we have had several requests for our Asian Greens Salad Mix. I checked on them today (we usually offer them in January) and yep, they are at least 2 weeks away.
I am changing the location for the Allen Street Wednesday delivery, 4:30-5:30. We will meet in the parking lot of Tannin Italian Restaurant, located at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Shepard Street. The parking lot has lots of lights, and we are off a city street. There is no Allen Street Farmers Market in December, but I'll still call the delivery Allen Street, because eventually we'll be back there!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot on Wednesday in Eaton Rapids at 12:00 noon, and the "Allen Street" delivery 4:30- 5:30. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday I am at the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery in Grand Ledge, 11:00-12:00 noon.
