Good Morning and Happy New Year!
I will talk about growing fresh produce in the winter in the next week or two. With the Holidays past us, my online inventory manager Harvie is back, and just in time to save my sanity trying to remember everyones' preferences! The online Farm Stand should also be up and running so I can be offering some of those "Extras" soon. It is also January, so we can begin to expand the menu as we anticipate the early Spring greens and other treats!
I know that Allen Street intended to open indoors January 6. I haven't heard anymore either way, and I cannot prepare for a full winter market with one or two days notice. We'll address that issue in the coming week, and meanwhile leave our Wednesday afternoon delivery at the Tannin Restaurant.
So this week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and later at the Tannin Italian Restaurant 4:30-5:30, also on Wednesday. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday I will be in the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery, 11:00-12:00 noon. Fair warning to those of you with lofty New Year resolutions; Flour Child will be open on Saturday!
