Hello! Summer officially begins in about two weeks, but the 80 degree temperatures tell me what to do right now! The heat loving crops that we grow outside are going into the ground this week. We start everything from seed and we have been holding the melons and summer squash in the nursery for the weather we have coming this week! We already offer Cucumbers grown indoors, and we should have Tomatoes in 2-3 weeks. The peppers are a little slow, and we may not have Salsa Kitsby July 4, but they are coming along. This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market, Fairview Street at Michigan Avenue after that, 2:30-6:30. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up and Saturday we are at the Market on the Grandin Grand Ledge 9:00 - 1:00 in Grand Ledge at JC Park. Please see the attached menu and let me know if I can help!
