Hello!
Tomorrow is the Summer Solstice and the longest daylight day of the year. Onions cue bulb development by daylength, tomatoes are making longer vines for more production, and we are taking advantage with the second planting of certain crops like Roma Tomatoes and Cucumbers. In exactly four weeks we will seed flats in the nursery for fall and winter production!
While crops are thriving so are pests like damaging insects, plant diseases, and weeds! Our great workers have been here a number of years, and really help me stay on top of all of those hazards. We have doubled down on our commitment to produce chemical free food, and our background in food safety ensures a fresh, safe, and very tasty product. I appreciate those young helpers and I appreciate your business!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market located at the corner of Michigan Ave and Fairview after that, 2:30 - 6:30. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up. Saturday we are at The Market on the Grand in Grand Ledge 9:00 - 1:00.
Please see the attached menu and let me know if I can Help!
Thank you,
