As the home gardener begins to reap tomatoes, peppers and other seasonal fresh produce, we move on to main crop Eggplant, Michigan Celery, and Bok Choi. Potatoes and onions are not far behind!
The Fall/ Winter CSA embraces September 5 -- December 18. I am working with my Harvie account manager to set up auto renew for your CSA as a matter of convenience to the members and will keep everyone informed as we move forward. The "pay in full" is greatly appreciated. The more modern "pay as you go" will be the main default method of payment as it eliminates the large sticker shock up front payment, and seems to be well received by the membership. I will also offer the Fruit Share add on through December 18!
Just a hint: I will be upgrading my website to accept ecommerce orders and payments very soon, and a new user friendly online farm stand will allow individuals to order and pay for select items through Harvie, my online inventory manager , although there will be a minimum purchase requirement for this convenience.
This week I will be at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon and the Allen Street Farmers Market after that 2:30 - 6:30. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday we are in Grand Ledge for the Market on the Grand, 9:00 - 1:00 at JC Park overlooking the river.
