Alanna has pledged about 8 more hours of valuable assistance before she leaves for her Summer Dream Job. Riley is back seeding our flats in the nursery, and hasn't missed a mojo beat. Three of our former student helpers will graduate from Springport High School next week, and then the following week of June 12, we welcome three newcomers for the next group of excellent Grower-Assistants to Hillcrest Farms!
This changeover will require a lot of planning and schedule adjustment. We will take a little break this Holiday Weekend, as we gear up for the coming 2 weeks!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market after that, 2:30-6:30. Thursday is farm pick up, and Saturday we are in Grand Ledge for the Market on the Grand, 9:00-1:00 on River Street. I hope to see you soon!
