Keep the Goodness Going: Winter CSA

Dear Spoon Full Farm Family:

One of the best parts about Summer (and Fall) is the healthy glow that comes from eating all the fresh green (and yellow and orange and red and purple) plants from the garden. Now, you can get that same glow in the winter, when you sign up for a Spoon Full Winter CSA.

Winter already?! We like to plan ahead, and we want to offer the goods to you, first. So our signup page (https://www.harvie.farm/signup/spoon-full-farm) now has a winter CSA option for grass-fed beef and pasture eggs, as well as Sun Sauce and Sun Tonic!

Our cattle eat living, colorful, vibrant grass and herbs all season long, and much of the medicine in those wondrous plants is transferred into the beef, along with delicious protein. That’s how we offer summer’s glow in winter - in the form of succulent roasts and rich steaks.

Our beef operation also stores carbon in the soil, and gives our animals happy, peaceful lives. It’s a win-win-win, and the Winter CSA is the best way to get it.

Nestled on the shore of the cold, clear upper Yakima River, Spoon Full Farm has converted a conventional export hay operation into a biodiverse, productive, regenerative ecological food farm. Our no-till garden produces delicious, vital produce. Our rotational-grazing pastures create rich, humane grass-fed meat and eggs. 140 acres of native wildland provides rich pollen and nectar that becomes incredible honey. In our commercial kitchen, we ferment our own produce into probioitic, delicious sauerkraut and hot sauce. Our produce CSA starts in June, but meat, eggs, honey, and ferments are available all year-round! We deliver to the Seattle area and Ellensburg.
